This book was hilariously funny! Even though funny,it was a bit romantic in a good way. First paragraph: "Yes,a drainpipe". There was a big moral in the story,and I think it was be yourself,and be a child and live life easily,because when your a teen,life is HARD. Drama,Boys,and Shaving are the big topics in teenage girls life's.Its the most common things girls talk about. In this book I found real life experiences,a meaning moral,a bit of romantic scenes,and a bit of humor.
In my book,this book is a winner!
Here are the suggestions if you do another book:
1. Make one about everyone's past,called "The Willow Falls Diary" and do Rory's past,Leo and Amanda's past,Tara and Grace's past,David's past,and do their really young past,as in 4 years old.
2. Do a book on Rory and Jake,and have it be romantic,but with a unexpecting turn.
3. Wendy Mass can make another book using one of her idea's!

I chose five stars because this book was amazing and always kept me reading. This book also taught me that if u do good deeds then something remarkable just might happen to you. Something that I didn't like about this book was that it seemed kind of short and didn't put as much detail that I thought was needed. I would recommend this book to readers who have read 11 birthdays ( which is my favorite) and after this wonderful book they should read 13 gifts. I would also recommended this book to readers who have read other Wendy Mass books.
This was a really good book. I liked it a lot, but not as much as 13 Gifts. It was basically about Rory turning 12 and having a list of things she wants to do. But as she does them, she has to figure out what she really wants. Anyway, it's a really good book, but I rated it a 3 because I didn't like it as much as 13 Gifts. It didn't take I long time to read, andI finished it very quickly.
A great read for young girls seeking more independence. This book was relevant, well-written, and overall just enjoyable to read.

I would recommend this book to any young girl not wanting to read a book all about boys, boys, and more boys.
Rory has an over protective mom who won't let her do anything until she is 12 years old. But Rory is special. She has a gift of understanding others feelings even when she is feeling awful. This book takes the reader on a mind-twisting adventure through the time Rory turns 12. Everything connects in ways so clever and mysterious, that in the end you are so surprised it is over, and you want to read more. I suggest this book to anybody who likes realistic fiction, along with a little mystery, and a great adventure.
I really love Wendy Mass's books. I have read almost all of them, and so far they do not disappoint!! I've actually read this book before, and I still love it! The Willow Falls books are my favorite books.... I've read them all and I can't wait for the next one. I'm twelve, but I read this book before when I was 11, so I'd recommend it to girls around 10-12 or so. You really should read these books, they're awesome!
Wndy Mass delivers stories that young girls love to read and share. I purchased 5 or 6 for Christmas morning and they were well received by my daughter(mom) and her daughter(granddaughter)! Let the ready and enjoyment and adventures begin. Highly recommended.
Is it really 9 years old/4th grade kids appropriate book?

I glanced few pages and took the photo of the page where I landed and found such words are really disturbing for this young age kids. These are all too much distractions for them rather than helping them. From my point of view, as a parent of 9 years old, I want my kid at 9 should know what's appropriate for 9/10 years- no need to fast forward them to teenager years (let it go naturally) and they spoil their academic life by making them to dream on boys, flirting, no parents at home during boy-girl party etc, etc - -these kinds of books encourages them to dream on things which they are too young. I know my kid is a very responsible kid at school- but I don't like to take that very lightly too as kids reading books with these words at this tender age makes me nervous.
